The team at Advanced Solutions is dedicated to maintaining an unwavering commitment to social and environmental practices. We strive to be the best we can be every day by empowering our employees to do great things for our communities in British Columbia.

What does that mean? As a local Vancouver Island company, we are putting the passion of our nearly 500 valued employees to work addressing not only our company goals but economic, social, and environmental issues. Within Advanced Solutions, we have an active Sustainability Committee which promotes practices in the workplace and creates awareness of environmental impacts and sustainable options available. Our CSR Policy and Strategy is measured in terms of our business improving conditions for our customers, employees, stakeholders, communities, and the environment. But our moral responsibility goes further, reflecting the need for today’s ethical issues such as inclusion, dignity, and equality.

Advanced Solutions celebrates diversity and respects a broad spectrum of lifestyles regardless of a person’s age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, social, and/or political views. Our leadership and employees take a holistic view of diversity that looks beyond usual measurements. This includes many perspectives of our employees as well as partners, clients and suppliers, and anyone who aspires to a future in the public sector in the technology or business services space.


Workplace diversity is understanding, accepting, and valuing differences between people. It means understanding how our differences impact our views and the way we act and interact with one another. We do not expect uniformity of views on important issues of the day, nor do we shy away from rigorous debate, but instead expect those interactions to be respectful and to appreciate diverse views.

Our Culture


Our company culture defines the way in which we interact with one another and how the team interacts with the outside world, specifically our customers. Advanced Solutions customers are Provincial and regional governments, city municipalities, as well as government-owned companies. Our goal is to help ensure that all stakeholders realize their goals of organizational effectiveness while embracing new models of social change.


In keeping our jobs local, we ensure our culture is always aligned with the needs of British Columbians. We create an enjoyable atmosphere, empower our employees, and create fun challenges to get us out of the office on occasion. Small gestures can make big differences with message boards, recognition awards and thank you breakfasts to name a few. Advanced Solutions has been doing business in British Columbia and part of the Vancouver Island community since 2004. During this time, we have embraced a culture that embodies a true social purpose and desire to give back to the communities where we do business.


We believe in building relationships with local charities, businesses, and community groups. Our employees participate in events in support of Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Victoria Hospitals Foundation, purchase gifts for the Senior’s on Santa’s List program at Christmas time, organize food drives for the local food banks, and most notably run an annual United Way campaign. Since 2004, Advanced Solutions has raised over $1.1 million for 

United Way to support local needs in communities across British Columbia.
